The Panhellenic Festival of Inclusive Culture DEAF AND HEARING PEOPLE IN ACTION aims to increase communication between the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with other individuals, to promote cultural values, encouragement of dual career in sports and fine arts; healthy lifestyles and social solidarity.
The thematic tribute of 2021 concerned disabled youth and career opportunities. The challenges that have been set to experts, policy makers and youth were the following:
WHAT DO OUR YOUNG PEOPLE RECEIVE AND BELIEVE IN THE FOLLOWING ISSUES?
(1) Equal opportunities in Education. DOES IT FINALLY HAPPEN;
(2) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS for successful orientation. WHAT ARE THE "KEY" SKILLS in the view of our young people?
(3) Accessibility to Higher Education and People with Less Opportunities. DOES IT EXIST;
(4) The next day after receiving the degree - OAED, Liaison Offices and Internship Opportunities. ARE THEY EFFECTIVE?
... and other issues depending on the interests, requests and proposals of the young people on behalf of the bodies they represent.
