Tasks
Task no.1
Evidence verified by: one activity organiser
1. Experiment with each app (Actionbound, Loquiz, Cluekeeper) to understand their core features and how they can be used to create custom treasure hunts. Familiarize yourself with creating clues, tracking progress, and managing the overall experience.
2. Reflect on how each of these tools could be used in different youth-focused activities. Consider scenarios like team-building exercises, educational scavenger hunts, or outdoor challenges, and how each app can enhance these activities.
3. Think about the strengths and limitations of each tool. For example, Actionbound might be great for multimedia-rich hunts, but it requires an internet connection, while Loquiz offers flexibility but may require more customization. Discuss how the tools' limitations might affect their use in different settings.
4. Identify which app you think would be the most valuable for your future activities. Consider ease of use, customization options, and any other features that could enhance the overall experience for the participants.

5. Upload a short reflection that includes:

  • How you might use the treasure/scavenger hunt apps in designing and implementing youth activities.
  • The advantages and limitations of the tool, considering their practical application.
  • Any specific ideas or examples of how these tools can be used to enhance the engagement, creativity, and problem-solving aspects of youth activities, especially in your work.
