What is it?
Generating ideas, developing imagination, nurturing inspiration.
Through a series of writing exercises participants will experiment with writing creatively in a variety of forms such as short fiction, beginning a novel, autobiographical fiction, and automatic writing. Reading published examples of the different forms and discussing their characteristics will enable us to gain a greater understanding of technique and we will also look at various publishing outlets, online and elsewhere.

Gerar ideias, desenvolver a imaginação e alimentar a inspiração.
Através de uma série de exercícios de escrita, os participantes irão experimentar várias formas de escrita criativa, tais como: ficção curta, início de um romance, ficção autobiográfica e escrita automática. A leitura de textos publicados nas diferentes formas e a discussão e análise das suas características irão permitir uma maior compreensão das técnicas utilizadas. Iremos, igualmente, explorar formas de publicação de escrita – online e outras.

produzir uma ou mais peças de escrita em prosa, acabadas
melhorar a compreensão das diferentes formas de escrita de ficção – entender como diferem umas das outras e o que oferecem ao leitor e ao escritor

to gain a greater understanding of different fictional writing forms, how they differ from each other and what they offer the reader and writer
