At this first level, you take your first steps into the Cities of Learning Network. You join activities on a local, national (or international level), meet other members, and start to understand how the cities of learning network works. By bringing your own ideas and perspectives into activities, you contribute to the collective growth of the network.
By completing this activity, you will:
- Participate in activities organised by local members or the Cities of Learning Network.
- Gain an initial understanding of the network, its members, and its goals.
- Share your ideas and experiences as a valuable contribution.
Possible roles at this level: participant, newcomer, active audience member.

This Badge serves as the entrance to the Young Co(L)-Creators programme by the Cities of Learning Network on either local or international level. Earners of this badge are entitled to join the programme(s) and engage further in the network by joining the opportunities in the upcoming levels of this programme. This badge is given to young people from the Cities of Learning environment, which are fulfilling at least one of the following criteria:
- Participation in at least one activity organized by the local member of international Cities of Learning Network.
- Demonstrated understanding of the network's goals, members, and key initiatives.
- Contribution of personal ideas and thoughts to the network's activities, showcasing a commitment to its development and growth.
