Using critical thinking skills they are able to assess the validity of information or detect high risk online resources. Understanding how settings on different platforms provide security to users and resources are an integral part of this badge.

- I understand (and modify my behaviour based on) implications of posting or sharing something without privacy restrictions. This also includes the use of cookies and managing the type of data being gathered.
- I know how to protect access to my accounts.
