Building Connections and Setting the Ground Rules

This badge is awarded to participants who successfully completed the First Day activity during the Low-Ropes Training for Youth Workers.

Achievement Description: The badge earner has actively engaged in the foundational activities of the training, which included energizers, ice-breaking games, and group discussions. They demonstrated a strong ability to connect with fellow participants, effectively communicated their expectations, hopes, and fears, and contributed to the creation of a social contract. Additionally, they have shown an understanding of essential safety measures for outdoor activities in a mountainous environment, having a better understanding on environmental and nature awareness.

This badge signifies that the earner is prepared to continue the training with a solid foundation of trust, cooperation, and shared understanding within the group.

Reflection: Take a moment to reflect on your experiences throughout the day. Consider the skills you improved, such as communication, teamwork, and safety awareness, and what you learned during the activities.

Written Feedback: Provide a short written summary that includes your feedback based on your reflection. Feel free to share your overall feelings about the day, including what went well, any challenges you faced, and the day impacted you personally and professionally.
