Let’s start from counting volunteer’s monthly allowance. Draft a simple weekly budget plan for managing your personal pocket money. Identify what amount you should get and what are the expected expenses. Aim at finding the balance between income and expenses.
If you just started your project, ask your mentor to remind on the financial conditions of volunteering in the ESC programme.

Compare the prices of the everyday use products of your hosting and sending country. Find out what is cheaper in the new place, and make a table showing prices from two places and a column identifying the difference in percentage.
You can use this simple website/tool to compare prices between different cities in the world (though it has mainly big cities)
