City Explorer
This badge recognises an ESC volunteer who has explored Molfetta and learnt about the city’s main places, services and opportunities. They have read and studied the Info pack, learnt about key spots and services, and got insights on how to be part of the local community.
The badge holder has demonstrated the ability to navigate the city independently, identify useful local services, places and opportunities, and find relevant information beyond the ESC Info pack. They have become more familiar with Molfetta’s culture and everyday life and have started connecting with locals. They have developed both local orientation and cultural awareness skills.

After reading the Info pack, explore Molfetta and find the following places:
- A place where you can find bargains — but only on Thursdays.
- A place where you can sell or exchange your clothes.
- A place where you can taste local food.
- A place where you can send letters and packages.
- The main entrance to the old town.
Take a photo of yourself at each place. For the third challenge, take a photo while tasting a local dish, snack or speciality.
Two of these places are not mentioned in the Infopack, so you will need to discover them by asking local people or doing your own research!
Finally, combine the five photos into a collage and upload it as evidence of your City Discovery.
