This badge recognises an ESC volunteer who has acquired the practical and cultural knowledge needed to manage everyday life in Molfetta.
The badge holder understands essential household arrangements, waste collection, local services, transport, health and emergency procedures and contacts, and the basic principles and norms for a respectful shared living. They are autonomous, responsible and accountable while navigating the local environment. They have already explored and experienced some of the local traditions, customs and cultural practices.

Cultural bonus: the “Madonna dei Martiri” is one of the main religious celebrations held in Molfetta, and takes place at the beginning of September every year. Attend the event(s) and complete one of the following activities:
- Take a picture of the Madonna
- Talk with locals and take a selfie while the parade or a celebration is taking place
- Learn a curious fact or a sentence in dialect related to the Madonna dei Martiri
