Culture Connector
This badge recognises an ESC volunteer who explores, appreciates and expresses different cultures with openness and curiosity.
The badge holder knows that ideas, identities and emotions can be expressed through different cultural and artistic forms, such as places, traditions, food, music, stories and art. They are able to discover local culture, reflect on their own perspective and engage respectfully with different cultural expressions.
This badge is connected to following Youthpass competence: Cultural awareness and expression competence.

Tasks
Task no.1

Go out and explore the area where you are volunteering. Find at least three historical, cultural or meaningful places in Molfetta or the surrounding area.
Your goal is to understand why these places matter to local people. Read information available at the site or online and/or ask local people for its importance and related stories or legends.
Upload a photo and a brief description of why each place is important for the local community.

Choose one cultural expression you would like to explore more deeply. It can be local food, music, art, crafts, a cultural event, a film, a book or another form of expression.
Take part in an experience related to them: attend a concert or performance, visit an exhibition or a craftsperson's gallery or workshop, try to prepare a local dish…
Reflect on what you discovered and how this experience helped you understand the local context better.
Upload photos, a short video, a written reflection, or any creative output connected to your experience.
