Digital Expert
This badge recognises an ESC volunteer who uses digital technologies creatively, critically and responsibly during their volunteering experience.
The badge holder knows how digital tools can support communication, collaboration, content creation and problem solving, as well as the importance of online safety, privacy and reliable information. They are able to choose appropriate tools, question online content and protect their digital identity.
This badge is connected to the following Youthpass competence: Digital competence.

Task no.1
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Explore a digital tool that can support your volunteering activities. It could help you create content, organise information, communicate with participants, design a poster, presentation videos or other digital content; plan an activity or collaborate with others. Choose a tool you have not used before, or explore a familiar tool in a new way.
Create a concrete output with the tool, such as a digital poster for an event or a resource presenting your volunteering work.
Upload the output or a link to it, together with a short reflection on what you learned and how the tool could be useful in the future.

Contribute to InCo’s digital content in your preferred way:
- Create some digital content (a video, post, etc) connected to a volunteering activity, local event, intercultural experience or InCo project.
- Make and record a short interview with another volunteer, participant or local partner.
- Record a short podcast or audio story, or participate in one episode of the FGEN radio podcast coordinated by InCo.
