This activity describes the third level of engagement as part of the Young Co(L)-Creators programme by the Cities and Regions of Learning Network.

Young people who engage in this level of the programme are overtaking bigger tasks with higher responsibility. They gained a deeper understanding of how the network works and help developing it with their engagement. They implement their own ideas on the network with support if needed. Partners are recognising their engagement and are considering their thoughts and ideas. Young Co(L)-Creators opinions on this level will be considered when making strategic decisions or developing general network ideas. They coach young people on lower levels in the peer coaching system through sharing their experiences and knowledge in engagement.

Concrete roles can be (e.g.): meeting organiser, peer coach, social media officer, badge manager.

This badge is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, responsibility, and mentorship within the Young Co(L)-Creators programme of the Cities of Learning Network. As a peer coach, you have taken on significant tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the development and strategic direction of the network.
Your responsibilities include at least one of the following points:

  • Undertaking larger tasks with higher levels of responsibility, showcasing your deep understanding of the network’s operations.
  • Implementing your own ideas and initiatives within the network, with support as needed, to drive innovation and growth.
  • Actively participating in strategic discussions and decision-making processes, with your opinions and ideas being highly valued by partners.
  • Coaching and mentoring young people at lower levels of the programme, sharing your experiences, knowledge, and insights to support their development and engagement.
  • Contributing to the peer coaching system by providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement to newer participants.
  • Attending the Young Co(L)-Creators team meetings to stay informed and aligned with the programme’s goals and initiatives.
