SDG 14: Protect Sea and Marine ResourcesThe United Nations stress the importance of the 14th Sustainable Development Goal, which intends to safeguard and sustainably use oceans, seas, and marine resources by 2030.

Oceans are vital—they regulate our climate, provide food, and are home to countless species. But they face threats from pollution, overfishing, and climate change.

To protect our oceans, governments, communities, and individuals must work together. This includes reducing pollution, managing fish stocks responsibly, and protecting underwater environments. It's also important to share the benefits of ocean resources fairly and support those who rely on the sea for their livelihoods, such as fishermen.

Everyone can help by reducing plastic use, supporting sustainable fishing, and raising awareness about protecting the underwater environment.
