The aim of this workshop is raising awareness of the responsibility towards the world's natural capital🌿 and resources and practically creating an environment for their transition to organisations that are protagonists of the Green planet🌎

♳Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues, as rapidly increasing production of disposable plastic products overwhelms the world’s ability to deal with them.

Plastics by the numbers -some key facts:
▪️Half of all plastics ever manufactured have been made in the last 15 years.
▪️Production increased exponentially, from 2.3 million tons in 1950 to 448 million tons by 2015. Production is expected to double by 2050.
▪️Every year, about 8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans from coastal nations. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.
▪️Plastics often contain additives making them stronger, more flexible, and durable. But many of these additives can extend the life of products if they become litter, with some estimates ranging to at least 400 years to break down.

If this not enough for you, than look at this video:

What can we do to help? The bigger impact starts with local action:

📍1 step: Go for a walk around your city/town/village
Walking on an urban track can be much more beneficial to the environment than you think. By reducing the use of transport in general🚎, we help reduce carbon emissions and also benefit our health!

📍2 step: Picked up all trash (plastic and metal) on your way🚮🗑
Collect all plastic and metal laying around in nature. It’s very important because plastic takes over 400 years to breakdown and tin and aluminum tale 50 – 200 years.

📍3 step: Take a photo📸 and post it with these hashtags: #gogreen, #walkforearth.
Sharing knowledge and insights helps you and your followers integrate information, empowers to own their ideas, and helps connect to new contexts. The act of sharing keeps the learning alive and relevant and encourages future growth
📍4 step: recycle all your findings♻️
You may ask us: Why Is It Important to Recycle ?
* To preserve natural resources. Recycling metal replaces the need to produce virgin metal.
* To best use raw materials.
* To offset your business's carbon emissions.
* To save money by reducing production costs.
* To meet recycling industry standards.
