"It all starts with a journey. It is the first time I see these places, I breathe this air in this part of the world. I see diversity and assonance with my homeland. I photograph spaces not yet consumed.
I trust an underground, unconscious path. I photograph streets, people, trees, sculptures, paintings, the arts of each place. Everything. Once back in Italy, at home, I look at the images and throw out words. My poems are born from an unknown flow, a memory, a living track that I also follow with my body. Through the body I decompose and recompose every seen image. I put into my flesh the forms of the admired sculptures, of the painted figures represented. I combine the static images with movement, with displacement, with transition that becomes emotion. Now a liquid is born, it crosses not only a physical space. What you see is just a piece of the journey. A tract. The shot of a route."

During my travels in different European regions, I visited museums and learned about the work of local artists. I was particularly struck by some sculptures and paintings, which conveyed emotional and physical sensations to me.
Starting from the characteristics of some selected works, taken as a reference and source of inspiration, I began my corporeal and compositional research.
By assuming their forms I gradually arrived at movement, through which the two-dimensional statues and figures lose their immobility in favor of a dynamism, a breath, a three-dimensionality. The statue thus becomes Other, a being that lives and changes into other forms, in a continuous flow of images, which plays with rhythm and suggestion.

Another guiding image for my composition is that of the River, a watercourse that flows, immerses and collects. The River passes through the cities of Wroclaw, Novi Sad and Manises. Place of memories, presences, legends and discoveries.
The physical movement that connects the sculptures and paintings belonging to the four regions thus becomes a trace, a path, a map that unites very different peculiar realities.
The physical score is nourished by the sensations that the places in question aroused in me from a sensorial and emotional point of view.

Novi Sad

Ice
layered body
Befana
sigarette
flicker of a leap
mystery among the tunnels
black narrow streets
dark
hair
objects from various generations
jumble of senseless things looking for meanings
collage of pasts, collage of flavors of inhaled food
fried soaked meat, smoked, rolled
layers of skin and fur
markets of future nostalgia
smoke from the mouth, smoke from the jug. Smoke in the streets, smoke in pubs
smoke inside, smoke outside, smoke night, smoke day
now as before
smoking narrow rooms from mouth to mouth
smoke rising from the belly, spits and floods
while waking up, while sleeping
heavy air like a leopard print carpet
fur
scarves close necks, hats hiding faces
wool wrapping a smile
fire burns like the raki you drank it all
