Each week, new materials and challenges will be unlocked, allowing learners to engage at their own pace while also participating in live sessions.

Participants will:

Content

In this third session, we move from theory to practice by exploring the tools and platforms that bring gamified learning to life. From classroom quizzes to immersive storytelling, the right tool can transform how learners engage and stay motivated.

Participants will get an overview of popular gamification tools like Kahoot, Classcraft, Quizizz, and Duolingo, and learn how to choose the most suitable one based on their learning context. We’ll also explore how to integrate free tools into your own learning experiences and use digital badges to celebrate progress and achievement.

In this session, participants explored a range of gamification tools and platforms, learning how to select and apply them to support learning goals. The session focused on the practical use of free tools, strategies for implementation, and the motivational power of digital badges. Moreover, by completing the activity, participants demonstrated their ability to explore, test, and reflect on gamification tools and how they can be integrated into their own learning environments.

1. Choose one gamification tool or platform introduced during the session (e.g., Kahoot, Classcraft, Duolingo, Quizizz, or any other tool explored).
2. Test it out!
3. Create a simple gamified learning activity using the tool (it can be a quiz, challenge, or mini-lesson).

Try it yourself or with a colleague/friend. Then, keep it to share it with the group in the next online session! We will have time to test some of the tools you created.
