In this activity, you’ll turn your reflection and problem-solving into a project sketch.
You’ll define a small initiative — real or imagined — that reflects the values of the New European Bauhaus: sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics.
You’ll use NEBComp competences to shape your idea, and describe its goal, approach, target group, and potential impact.
This is your chance to dream, co-create, and shape the future through a NEB lens 🌍🎨🤝
🧩 Steps in the Activity:
1️⃣ Start with your idea or challenge
Think back to the community challenge or topic you explored in Activity #3. You can:
- Continue working on that idea
- Or choose a new creative spark you’d love to explore
2️⃣ Define and develop further your initiative
Fill in these elements (individually or with peers):
🔹 1. What challenge are you responding to?
Describe the issue, need, or opportunity you want to work with.
- Who is affected by it?
- Why does it matter?
- Where is this happening?
🔹 2. What is the core problem or opportunity?
Define the focus clearly in one sentence.
Example: “Local artisans are losing visibility and income due to digital exclusion.”
🖊️ Write your problem or opportunity statement
🔹 3. Brainstorm your solution
What would your NEB-inspired micro-initiative look like?
Think small and doable — a creative idea, a cultural activity, a public space activation, a community tool, a process...
🖊️ Describe your idea in 3–5 bullet points
🔹 4. Choose your guiding NEBComp competences
Pick 2 to 4 NEBComp competences that support your idea.
Write them down and say why you chose each one.
🔹 5. Fill in your Micro-Initiative Canvas
- Initiative Title
- Goal
- Target Group
- NEBComp Competences Used
- Key Activities / Methods
- Location / Context
- Expected Impact
🔹 6. Optional: Visual or Creative Expression
Add a small sketch, map, collage, or tagline — even in words.
You can draw, paste a screenshot, or just describe the visual vibe.
🔹 7. Final reflection (optional)
- What was inspiring about this exercise?
- What would you need to turn this into action?
3️⃣ Present it visually (optional)
You can also add:
- A moodboard or image collage (Canva, Google Slides, Miro)
- A sketch, diagram, or rough layout
- A tagline or poster headline
4️⃣ Share it!
Submit your idea via form or upload (Google Doc, Padlet, Miro, Canva, SlideShow).
