What is Solidarity Academy?
Solidarity Academy is an initiative of the European Solidarity Corps run in partnership with Youth Work Ireland Midlands. It's mission is to support, guide and inspire young people across Ireland as they prepare for volunteering opportunities abroad. The programme equips participants with the skills, confidence, and cultural awareness needed to thrive in international projects, while also helping them to build pathways toward brighter futures in employment or further education. Through training, mentoring, and hands-on experiences, Solidarity Academy empowers young people to develop personally, make a positive impact in communities beyond Ireland, and return with valuable competencies that will serve them for life.
