About the workshop

This interactive workshop was held as part of the youth exchange »CTRL+ALT+Explore«, organised by MC Idrija. The session focused on equipping young participants with practical tools and insights to better understand motivation, resilience, growth mindset, failure as a part of learning, and problem-solving.

Through case studies, creative reflection methods, and group activities, participants explored their personal experiences with success and failure, challenged their inner beliefs, and developed strategies to cope with rejection. The workshop also guided them in setting meaningful goals and building action plans rooted in self-awareness and personal growth.

By the end of the session, participants had not only re-framed their views on failure but also discovered their own learning paths and potential for development.

The workshop was led by Urška Česnik from TiPovej! Institute.

Motivation Mapping: Create a simple visual or written map showing one of your personal goals, and identify:
  • What external motivations drive you toward this goal
  • What internal motivations keep you going
  • One challenge you might face and how you plan to stay motivated through it

Peer Support Action: Check the check resources in this activity and choose one of the self-exploration methods e.g. Inner Critic Dialogue, Fail Tree, Rejection Résumé, etc.) and:
