The objective of this activity is to gain an understanding of El Corte Inglés, one of the largest retailers in Europe, and their approach to promoting the development of workers' skills in Portugal.
During the visit, we will explore how El Corte Inglés has responded to the challenges of the 21st century labor market and the skills that are most valued by employers in today's world.
We will have the opportunity to meet with El Corte Inglés executives and professionals to learn about their approach to developing their workforce's skills, including their training and development programs, mentoring initiatives, and career advancement opportunities.
We will also discuss how El Corte Inglés is responding to the changing demands of the retail industry, including the increasing importance of digital skills.
During the visit, El Corte Inglés will present their perspective on how to promote the development of workers' skills, including the challenges they have faced and their strategies for overcoming them.
They will also share insights on which skills for the 21st century are most valued by the labor market and how they are integrating these skills into their training and development programs.
At the end of this activity, participants will have gained a comprehensive understanding of El Corte Inglés' approach to promoting the development of workers' skills and the skills most valued by the labor market in Portugal.
Through the exchange of ideas and experiences, participants will be able to adapt and improve their own training and development programs to meet the demands of the 21st century labor market.
