Giorgia is an artists who took part the four residencies of the ThisPLACED program in Italy, Serbia, Spain and Poland. She immortalized through her drawings in a sketchbook the different details that she observed through the residencies. She also created a stop-motion video to combine together the different aspects of the cultural imagery of each country and superimpose them in images, sounds and scents.

This video documents the sketchbook that accompanied me on all the journeys of the Thisplaced program. Following the theme of residencies, namely the rediscovery of forgotten places, I aimed to immortalize visited landscapes, details of artworks in museums, architectural elements, food, colors, people, moods, and moments experienced and felt during this journey in Serbia, Spain, Poland, and Italy. The sketchbook represents a narrative of images that bring forgotten elements to light, a kind of visual memory.
