By 'environmental literacy' we mean an individual's understanding, skills and motivation to make responsible decisions that take into account their relationships with natural ecosystems. Environmental literacy aims to develop environmentally aware citizens who are actively involved in society and have the knowledge and skills to develop attitudes, behaviours and dispositions to care for the environment. While knowledge and understanding are important components of environmentally literate citizens, the key is to link what we know and what we do. This playlist will explore this skill.
