The training course will contribute to developing youth workers' “Facilitating Learning*” competences based on the ETS competence model for youth workers to work internationally:
  • To identify and meet the learning needs of young people
  • To facilitate learning in and from the group
  • To select, adapt or create appropriate methods
  • To stimulate intercultural learning in international settings
  • To facilitate the process of reflection and recognition of learning

Please download the provisional programme to see how objectives are translated into the training sessions.

*Facilitating Learning means establishing dialogue and ensuring cooperation mechanisms with individuals, groups and communities. This means that the youth worker has the attitudes, knowledge and skills to support young people in identifying and pursuing their learning needs and to then choose, adapt or create methods, methodologies and digital tools in residential and online environments accordingly.
