This long-term activity will accompany you throughout your entire volunteering experience in Molfetta.
Through practical challenges, activities and reflections, you will explore different parts of volunteering life:
local culture and community
communication and digital tools
events
shared living
personal projects
language learning
active citizenship
and the eight Youthpass key competences.
You will complete tasks connected to your daily experience as an ESC volunteer. These may include taking part in local activities, creating content, working with others, reflecting on your learning, developing an idea or contributing to the community.
For each task, you will upload evidence on the platform – such as a photo, video, text, audio recording, link or document. Once your evidence is reviewed and confirmed by your mentor or the InCo team, you will receive an open badge recognising what you have learned and achieved.
Moreover, by collecting the eight Youthpass competence badges, you will unlock the final Youthpass Master badge and use your evidence to complete your Youthpass certificate at the end of the project.
Get started:
To get an overview of the topics related to this activity, watch the video below, about the programme financing your volunteering experience, and read the welcoming letter.
Please note:
This is an opportunity to make your learning visible, reflect on your experience and build a personal record of your ESC journey. For this, we strongly encourage you to finish the path and get all assigned badges. It will validate your new acquired knowledge and skills, so be dedicated and consistent!
The badge holder is an ESC volunteer highly aware of the value of their volunteering experience and its contribution in personal and professional development. Through the tool of open badges’ activities, the volunteer has worked and reflected on the skills acquired during the experience and is conscious of its growth. They are able to get their competences validated and recognised in formal and non-formal settings and the job market.
