Self-compassion is born from friendship with oneself. Compassion is not a weakness.

With self-compassion, we show ourselves the same kindness, understanding, and care as we would to a good friend who is facing everyday challenges, such as failure, sadness, loneliness, or anxiety. Self-compassion is one of the foundations for resilient strength, leading to inner power.

Self-compassion is connected to our inner voice, which directly tells us much about our self-view or the situation we are in.
