This activity certifies the completion of the online course entitled ‘Feedback that makes a difference’, in the platform KVAK.
It demonstrates that you worked on the following topics:
- Reflecting on what makes feedback effective, specific, and constructive.
- Role playing as a judge in a debate scenario and practice note-taking, scoring, formulating and delivering individual feedback. Emphasis on the categories of style, strategy and content.
- Evaluating an argument.
- Exploring the world schools debate format as an youth work activity: the rules and expectations of the format.
- Preparing for a debate - dive in in motion analysis: how to break down various elements of the motion to understand it better.
Participants are able to:
- Reflect what makes feedback effective, specific, and constructive.
- Practice note-taking, scoring, formulating and delivering individual feedback as a judge in a debate scenario.
- Reflect on how to evaluate an argument.
- Understand how the world schools debate format works: the rules and expectations of the format.
- Reflect on motion analysis: identify how to break down various elements of the motion to understand it better.
The activity was developed inside the project KVAK - Efficient, inclusive, engaging and constructive feedback in youth work. Nexes Interculturals is the entity that created and manages this activity.

- Completed the online course “Youth work in action: making decisions that matter “
- Reflected on challenging scenarios that they might happen in real-world education contexts, and the response of youth workers considering everyone involved and their core values.
- Learned different moral frameworks that can be applied in various scenarios. Reflected on the available options and the potential outcomes when facing similar situations.
- Explored the importance of making a common agreement with a youth group.
- Learned how to implement a restorative process with youth who don't follow the common agreements.
- Learned how to re-evaluate the process of making rules with a youth group after breaking one of them.
- Fostered personal insight and self-assessment, evaluating how personal methods have evolved through the principles covered in the course.
