Spletno usposabljanje o presečni diskriminaciji v mladinskem delu vključuje 5 sklopov, ki obravnavajo:
- stereotipe, moč in diskriminacijo,
- enakost spolov in diskriminacijo na podlagi spola,
- rasizem in etnično diskriminacijo,
- presečno diskriminacijo ter
- naslavljanje presečne diskriminacije v mladinskem delu.

Glavni namen usposabljanja je spoznati pomembnost in načine naslavljanja presečne diskriminacije in presečne pravičnosti v mladinskem delu ter usvojiti veščine za ustvarjanje varnega okolja za mlade.

Poleg tega je namen usposabljanja spoznati izraze in koncepte:
- s področja stereotipov in predsodkov ter na njih osnovanih vrst diskriminacije,
- s področja enakosti spolov, seksizma in homofobije,
- s področja »rase« in rasizma ter etnične skupnosti in etnične diskriminacije,
- s področja presečnosti.

Vsebina usposabljanja je nastala na podlagi proučevanja področja presečne diskriminacije, s poudarkom na presečnosti spola, rase in etnične pripadnosti, na podlagi pregleda poznavanja področja med mladimi in mladinskimi delavkami_ci v 3 državah (Slovenija, Italija, Romunija) ter gradiv in orodij na področju presečne, večkratne diskriminacije. Presečna diskriminacija je šibko prepoznana in obravnavana, zato se mladinske_i delavke_ci pri svojem delu soočajo z izzivi, kako delovati presečno in vključevati to prizmo na vseh področjih delovanja. Presečna diskriminacija se nanaša na razmere, ko se posameznik ali skupina sooča z večkratnimi oblikami diskriminacije hkrati.

Vsebino spletnega usposabljanja Presečna diskriminacija v mladinskem delu je pripravil Forum za enakopraven razvoj v sodelovanju s projektnimi partnerji Zavod Global, Nosotras Onlus in Asociatia Pro Democratia v sklopu projekta Erasmus+. Financirala Evropska unija. Vendar so izražena stališča in mnenja zgolj stališča in mnenja avtorjev_ic in ne odražajo nujno stališč in mnenj Evropske unije ali Nacionalne agencije. Zanje ne moreta biti odgovorna niti Evropska unija niti Nacionalna agencija.

Namen sklopa je spoznati osnovne koncepte in pojme s področja presečnosti.

Po zaključku sklopa boste:
• znali definirati osnovne pojme, kot sta presečnost in presečna pravičnost,
• prepoznali pomen prepleta različnih identitet posameznika in povezane presečne diskriminacije,
• vedeli, zakaj je potrebno naslavljati presečnost za zagotovitev presečne pravičnosti,
• prepoznali presečno diskriminacijo in presečno pravičnost.

Presečna diskriminacija

Ljudje hkrati pripadamo različnim družbenim kategorijam, kot so rasa, spol, socialno-ekonomski status, spolna usmerjenost, invalidnost in drugo, ki skupaj vplivajo na naše izkušnje z diskriminacijo in privilegiji.
Imamo torej različne osebne okoliščine ali identitete.
Presečna diskriminacija se nanaša na razmere, ko se posameznik ali skupina sooča z večkratnimi oblikami diskriminacije hkrati. Opozarja na součinkovanje oziroma prečenje različnih diskriminacij. Te osebne okoliščine, identitete in družbene kategorije se namreč ne seštevajo, pač pa prečijo med seboj, in tako ustvarjajo »novo realnost«. Ta ni preprost seštevek posameznih osebnih okoliščin ali posameznih diskriminacij, pač pa specifična situacija, ki je nastala zaradi součinkovanja osebnih okoliščin in z njimi povezanih diskriminacij.
