In this overarching playlist, you can explore and complete the CultureComp Academy's nine activities and three courses, all in one place. Spanning cultural democracy, participatory performing arts, and the CultureComp Framework itself, this combined playlist covers several key topics, including interculturalism, transculturalism, collective creativity and performance, and the core elements of our competence framework. By completing the nine activities within—either in this combined playlist, or across our three individual courses—you will earn the final CultureComp Framework badge.

Transilience
How do you seek changes in your world/community, and who might be affected by these changes?
In this task, you will explore how the climate crisis is reshaping not only the environment, but also how people live, move, and imagine their futures. When you think about climate change, do you see it as predictable or uncertain? How might this uncertainty affect the way individuals and communities respond?
You will reflect on climate-related mobility as a complex, layered process. What factors—environmental, political, economic, or personal—might influence whether someone stays or moves? How do different levels of support or vulnerability shape these decisions?
This task also invites you to think critically about resilience. When you hear the idea of “bouncing back,” what does that assume about the world we return to? Who is expected to adapt, and who is responsible for creating the conditions for change? As you engage with these ideas, consider the concept of transilience. What might it mean to move beyond recovery toward adaptation and transformation? How can flexibility, creativity, and shared responsibility help shape more just and sustainable futures?

Cultural Innovation
How might you generate new cultural ideas and ways of doing things?
In this task, you will explore transculturalism as a way of understanding culture in motion. How do you usually think about culture—as something fixed and separate, or as something shifting and interconnected? Where do you see cultures mixing, overlapping, or reshaping each other in your own context?
You will reflect on how transculturalism moves beyond simple ideas of communication between cultures. When have you experienced moments where new, shared understandings emerged through interaction? What happens when you look for connections rather than boundaries?
This task also invites you to engage with the complexity of cultural encounters. How do you respond to moments of tension, discomfort, or misunderstanding? Could these moments open up new ways of thinking or relating? As you explore these ideas, consider how power and inequality shape cultural interactions. Who benefits from these connections, and who may be marginalised? What might it mean to approach cultural life as co-creative, dynamic, and open to transformation in an interconnected world?

Transcultural Collaboration
How could you value cultural differences and equality as a catalyst for social transformation?
In this task, you will explore transculturalism as an active process of creating shared meanings in a complex, changing world. When you encounter new people or unfamiliar environments, how do you find ways to belong? Do you see yourself as observing culture, or helping to shape it?
You will reflect on how culture is influenced by history, power, and inequality. Who gets to participate fully in cultural life, and who is left out? How do difference, tension, and discomfort shape the ways people connect and build communities?
This task also invites you to consider the impact of climate mobility and global change. How might movement and displacement affect people’s ability to belong, contribute, and be recognised? What responsibilities do communities have in creating space for diverse experiences? As you engage with these ideas, think about the role of creativity and participation. When can shared cultural activities open new possibilities—and when might they reinforce existing inequalities? What might it mean for you to actively contribute to building communities that are inclusive, just, and open to transformation?
