This playlist supports young people to explore stand-up comedy as an art form—writing jokes, performing, analysing comedians, and sharing comedy skills with others and forms a part of Open Up The Mic training courses for young people and delivered by BlackLiver with the support of ShowTown Museum, Think Forward and funding from Arts Council England. The playlist and learning and reflection action activities allow young people to provide evidence that can go towards a Bronze Arts Award.
Share who you are and your interest and ambition with taking part in Open Up The Mic.
Share your thoughts, interests and experience of comedy. Highlight why you are interested in doing Open Up The Mic and how you think you will feel at the end of it.
