This playlist supports young people to explore stand-up comedy as an art form—writing jokes, performing, analysing comedians, and sharing comedy skills with others and forms a part of Open Up The Mic training courses for young people and delivered by BlackLiver with the support of ShowTown Museum, Think Forward and funding from Arts Council England. The playlist and learning and reflection action activities allow young people to provide evidence that can go towards a Bronze Arts Award.
This is your chance to research Stand-Up and share your interests into comedians and jokes and what learning and insights can be gained from some of your favourite comedians.

The owner of this badge has completed the required 4 tasks required for ‘Comedy Research’ activity which forms a part of the learning playlist ‘Open Up The Mic’. The skills, knowledge and attitudes gained and demonstrated through completing these tasks include:

Explored different Stand-Up Comedians and shared their differences and why they still make them laugh
