This 2-day training workshop introduced librarians and educators to the principles and practices of gamification as a tool for youth education.
Over two days, you explored game dynamics, player types, and motivation frameworks such as the Octalysis model and Self-Determination Theory. Through hands-on experiences using Actionbound, role play, and simulation games.
You were invited to design your own gamified learning missions by using Actionbound. You also learned how Open Badges can be used to recognize participation, skills, and learning outcomes.
