This activity certifies the completion of the online course entitled ‘Gamification in Education’, in the platform KVAK.
It demonstrates that you worked on the following topics:
- Introduction to gamification in education and youth work.
- Games basics, mechanics, dynamics and game design.
- Inclusion, Gamification and Impact.
Participants are able to:
- understand the use of games and gamification strategies in education, and their benefits.
- identify the difference between gamification, serious games and Game-Based Learning (GBL).
- understand key concepts regarding game mechanics (points, badges, leaderboards, quests, levels) and dynamics.
- aligning gamification with learning objectives.
- design a simple gamified activity/challenge.
- understand key concepts regarding inclusion and game design
- consider how to implement inclusive gamified learning experiences.
- assess the impact of a gamification experience on participants engagement
The activity was developed inside the project KVAK - Efficient, inclusive, engaging and constructive feedback in youth work. Nexes Interculturals is the entity that created and manages this activity.
